From Humble Beginnings To National Market Leader

With more than 30 years in the packaging industry, The Sofocleous Family has continued to expand at a phenomenal rate. Today, Pinnacle International Wholesalers Pty Ltd stands tall as one of the largest national market leaders of the packaging industry.

Back in the 1980s, Mr George Sofocleous took his first small steps in creating better choices for consumers by designing more sustainable packaging options around the Sydney area. As the years passed, his reputation and Pinnacle’s range continued to grow stronger.

As time passed, George realised that the market needed to change to more environmentally friendly products, George continued to innovate new products which changed the market landscape, such as the introduction of Paper Coffee Cups to replace Styrofoam, Enviro Paper Corrugated Boxes in lieu of EPS containers, and a few years back the First to market in Australia, of Paper Rectangular and Round containers to replace plastic. His impact was so great it changed the packaging industry according to the Sydney Morning Herald who named George the “King of Cups”.
